When I was a younger worship leader I longed to lead spontaneously in worship. I longed to be a worship leader who knew just the right songs to play and just the right things to say. This desire led to years of awkward moments and frustration until I ultimately realized, the same Spirit who works in the moment works in the planning. In this lab, we will explore the deep wellsprings of Spirit-led planning.
Objectives:
- Each lab participant will walk away with a greater understanding of how the Spirit of God works in and through the planning process.
- Each lab participant will receive tools to help them practice the presence of God in everyday life as well as the planning process.
- Each lab participant will receive tools to help them craft worship services that are thematically coherent and spiritually impacting.
